The complex flavours of this chutney work brilliantly with foie gras
The combination of fig and foie gras is a classic, each flavour complimenting perfectly the other. This chutney is enriched by a touch of fortified Gascon wine, white wine vinegar and bay leaf, giving a deliciously sweet and sour flavour. We suggest that you serve it with good foie gras, slices of fresh bread and a sweet white wine.
