A delicious, pure butter walnut cake from the Rouergue

With a gorgeous texture and rich flavour, this walnut cake is made in the Aveyron region of Southern France. The walnuts are roasted with caramel, and the cake is topped with a light, icing sugar meringue.

Light yet rich, melt-in-the-mouth yet crunchy, the result is simply sublime.

Sugar, wheat flour, butter, walnuts 10.5%, semi-skimmed milk, eggs, baking powder.
