Figs in a delicate Armagnac syrup

The French talk about the art of 'refreshing' fruit by steeping it in alcohol. We like their way of thinking!

These figs in a light Armagnac syrup can be used in cocktails, puddings, with icecream... or try them with savoury dishes such as foie gras or duck breast.
