Houmous, this typical dish from the Near East is composed of a chickpea purée and a sesame purée called "tahini". It is flavoured with lemon juice and olive oil and decorated with seeds of the chickpea and sesame seeds ...
But beware, these are not just any seeds, they are super seeds: squash, sunflower, flax. They are the queens of nutrients: very rich in magnesium, potassium, zinc, manganese and copper. Seeds are also reputed to have numerous anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that are very beneficial for our body.
Ideal to accompany your pita breads or on toast, crackers or breadsticks seasoned with a hint of paprika. We advise you to taste it with small vegetable sticks for a 100% vegetarian aperitif and 100% pleasure.
