Produced by the Gardon cheese dairy (La Chapelle Laurent, Cantal), Campalou is a cow's milk cheese with a fruity taste. The milk is produced by a single producer, certified in Organic Agriculture, located at an altitude of 1000m.
Its grey, even light brown rind is thin and covered with a light white down. It contains a paste decorated with small openings, light in colour, both firm and melting.
The Campalou expresses with freshness and softness all the authenticity of its terroir, like its cousins the Cantal and the Saint Nectaire.
