Lou Titounet' de Hyelzas - Sheep's milk cheese from Lozère
Made from raw sheep's milk in the manner of a Camembert, this cheese is unrivalled in its smoothness!
In Occitan, Titounet means "little lamb". A nod to its territory but also a mirror of its flavours, this cheese made from ewe's milk is surprisingly mild.
Made with milk from the Causse Méjéan, on the southern borders of the Massif Central, by the Fromagerie de Hyelzas, it offers delicate flavours that assert themselves over time, without ever becoming too strong. Its undergrowth aromas will delight the greatest number of people!
Its rind is finely floral and wrinkled. Its dough is creamy, shiny, and dotted with small holes. The texture becomes more and more supple and creamy under the crust as it becomes more refined. You will find the fine aromas of raw sheep's milk.
