Château Haut Caillou is located in the commune of Néac in the heart of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation.

This tiny 2.5 hectare estate was taken over in 2002 by a young, talented grower, Laurent Rousseau.

Through the application of innovative and entirely quality-oriented techniques, in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, the net result matches the efforts deployed, with a truly great Lalande de Pomerol.

Tasting

The wine from Haut Caillou has a deep colour with flashes of purple. The rich, clean nose combines the aromas of small soft fruit and black fruit with subtle hints of woodiness. Full-bodied on the palate with fine tannins and a marked texture. An enjoyable bottle with lots of potential.
