It has won numerous awards including a silver medal at the 2017 Dublin Beer Cup, being named Best IPA in Ireland at the 2016 World Beer Awards and Beer of the Year 2015 by independent consumer group Beoir.
Style: Single Irish malt IPA
Malt: 100% Irish pale malt
Hops: Ahtanum, Centennial, Citra, Amarillo
Strength: 6% ABV
Bitterness: 65 IBUs
Colour/appearance: pours a pale gold colour, with lovely white head. Medium carbonation.
Aroma: lots of hops! It's a hop bomb with citrus and floral characters, particularly grapefruit at the fore, with hints of lime, melon and lychees.
Flavour: hoppy fruit with a biscuity malt body.
Aftertaste: rounded bitterness that cleanses the palate with a lingering sweetness from the single malt, preparing the palate for the next sip.
