Make your own spaghetti using agar agar and alginate!
The spaghetto kit contains: 5 1m tubes, 1 bottle, 1 siphon adapter for the Isi et Liss kit, which allows you to make 10 strands of 50cm spaghetti in one go.
How to make 45 strands of 50cm long spaghetti
In a saucepan, dissolve 4g of powdered agar agar in 250ml of liquid (stock or juice). Bring to the boil, stirring well. Remove from the heat and strain. Using a funnel, fill the bottle with the mixture. Prepare a bowl of iced water. Fill the siphon with one or two charges of N2O. Screw the siphon adapter onto the bottle. Fill the tubes one by one and submerge them in the iced water. The cooled liquid will gellify in the tubes. Take the tubes out of the cold water and place the tube on the siphon in order to gently extract the spaghetti. Once the tube is empty, repeat the operation.
Using the Texturas algin
Mix the liquid to be gellified with the algin. Fill the tubes with this mixture and empty the tubes into a bowl of calcium chlorure so that the liquid gellifies on contact with the chlorure to form spaghetti.
