Long and fine, this Italian pasta is simply sublime!
It's difficult to think about Italy without thinking about one of its most delicious emblems - pasta. But not all pasta is created equal! This Martelli pasta has been made by the same family for generations.
Martelli use only the very best durum wheat made from a particular type of gluten to produce their pasta, without using industrial methods. The pasta is given loving attention and is rolled out on bronze plaques rather than Teflon, which adds a slight reddish sheen to the finished product, allowing it to stick better to the sauce. The pasta is dried for a minimum of 50 hours to preserve the high-quality wheat grains.
Spaghettini is a very long, fine pasta. Served with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, it makes a perfect, delicious meal.
