The Bodegas Chivite has been in the Chivite family since 1647. The Gran Feudo Crianza was made using the Tempranillo and Grenache grapes, which are amongst the oldest grapes grown in the region. The grapes are grown in vineyards situated in the best grape growing regions of Navarre. This area, which is certified and controlled, produces a selection of grapes which includes 70% Tempranillo, 25% Grenache, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged in American oak casks for 12 months before bottling, and may be stored for several years.
The Gran Feudo Crianza 2004 has a brilliant appearance with a cherry red colour and lighter highlights. It has a harmonious nose with notes of fruit, spices and wood. This is a well balanced, supple wine with a very good finish.
Alcohol: 13 % vol. Contains sulfites.
