Le Château Bouscassé is a property of the Brumont family for several generations. Some of the vines that produce this 100% Tannat Madiran are centenarians. Planted on great terroirs, these small plots along the cliff maumusson-laguian and fine clay soils and limestone. This set provides a highly fertile mixture in the production of fine wines, distinguished, elegant, racy, and very good aging potential.

Grapes: Tannat. Vines 50 to 100 years old.

Earth clay and limestone ridges to grep. Mottled clay.

Winemaking and aging: Maceration lasts 3 to 6 weeks and fermentation takes place at a temperature of 28 ° C. The latter is malolactic, thereby soften the wine. Ageing on lees in 100% new oak barrels for 14 to 16 months.

Tasting notes: Tannat has a fine and smooth texture, aromas with discreet notes of wild berries, cigar and mocha are proving very difficult.
