Dijon Mustard with Saffron
The fisherman's mustard
Saffron is native of the Middle East and it is today the most expensive spice in the world. Fortunately, small quantities are enough to perfume your dishes.
Incorporated with saffron, this mustard is made by a Burgundy factory in Beaune, a mustard-maker since 1840. Seeds are selected for their qualities and are ground as in the past with millstones (flint). Millstones avoid damaging the heat-sensitive seeds and keep their flavours.
This saffron mustard is perfect with your sauces, mayonnaise or as it is on your fishes. It can also serves to season your poultry or your rice and pasta dishes.
