Pecan nut oil has a flavour somewhere between walnut and almond oil. This oil is quite thick in texture with a less bitter flavour than walnut oil that blends extremely well with balsamic vinegar. Use it in a dressing for citrus fruit salads. We think that it is particularly good when used in recipes with hard-rind cheese or mushrooms, and it marries perfectly with rice based dishes.
