Excellent with vegetables
A strongly flavoured oil with a flavour slightly reminiscent of brassica. The flavours lend themselves very well to potato salad, dishes with beetroot, shallot, broccoli, cabbage, or to make the famous ‘cervelle de canut' (Speciality of Lyon in France: a mix of whisked fromage frais, minced chives, salt and pepper). Rape seed oil is particularly suited to vegetable dishes, and can be used as the basis of a salad dressing when blended with lemon juice.

Rape seed oil is remarkable for its nutritional qualities. This oil has a balance of fatty acids ideal for our bodily needs. It is particularly rich in alpha-linolenic acid, an essential fatty acid. Rapeseed oil is also a good source of vitamin E and antioxidants, important for healthy cell turnover.
