Ras el hanout is a north African spice mix. It includes more than 20 different spices (rose buds, Guinea pepper, lavander, cardamom, long pepper, cubeb peper, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, Indian saffron, ...). Ras el Hanout is a key ingredient to make a good couscous.
Tasting : very aromatic and not very pungent, that is the perfect spice to flavor tajines, games, semolina or rice. It can also be used to flavor almond and honey made pastries.
