Schinus terebinthifolius is sometimes called Chinese coffee. It would come from Madagascar. It is very popular in South America, in Japan and in Reunion Island. It is more and more used in Europe.
Taste : a powerful and pronounced taste with black pepper, juniper and sweet aniseed notes. It is great on fishes and white meats. For a better tasting, it is recommended to grind the pink peppercorns just before use.
