Thursday Cottage Christmas Pudding
Christmas Pudding is a British typical holiday dessert. In the Middle Ages it was made up with meat, dried fruit and spices. Then the eggs and bread replaced the meat to give the dessert we know today.
Five weeks before Christmas, on Stir-Up Sunday, the pudding was prepared according to a family recipe, inherited from generations. Everyone helped to mix the dough.
Today Thursday Cottage proposes its version of this pudding, beloved by many generations. Enjoy!
Tip for use :
Steam or bain-marie : leave the pudding in its box, remove the plastic. Leave to warm up gently for 1h30.
