"Bastidou" farmhouse loaf
The "Bastidou" farmhouse bread is a mixture of several flours with a natural leaven, which gives it a creamy crumb and a very good shelf life.
The Bastidou is the speciality of the Soulatges artisanal bakery-pastry shop.
Located in La Canourgue, in the village of origin of BienManger.com and a few kilometres from our premises, it delivers fresh bread every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning which is delivered to you the next day by Chronofresh to guarantee optimum freshness.
Because of its composition, its elaboration (slow maturation and use of natural leaven) and its generous size, this bread lends itself well to a long conservation.
You can also freeze it but be careful not to keep it too long in the freezer.
