In the collective spirit, the loukoums are the very symbol of the sweetness and delicacy inherited from the Ottoman culture.

Legend has it that Turkish delight has been créated around 500 years ago. In 1776, they were brought to Istanbul by the confectioner Bekir Effendi. Very quickly appreciated by all, they will become in a few years one of the culinary emblems of the country! Today the ladies do not hesitate to offer it to their friends and it becomes a proof of love.
The rose, another emblem of the Middle East, will delicately perfume these loukoums with its subtle and floral notes.
