Wild blackberries are members of the rose family, and originate in Europe and Asia. The plant is extremely hardy and grows easily in the wild. It bears white flowers and dark purple fruit.
This syrup is made using only wild blackberries, which gives it an extremely intense flavour that is perfect for making kirs or for diluting in water for a non-alcoholic drink. It can also be used drizzled onto ice cream or in tarts and pastries.
Brown cane sugar, wild blackberries, water. Organic products. Made with 35g fruit for 100g syrup.
