Crèmes Brûlées with Foie Gras
To all the sweet and sour fans: the legendary foie gras crème brûlée !
The foie gras creme brulee is an example of mix between sweet and sour. With a good portion of foie gras and a smooth creme brulee, the producer added a touch of acidity with the balsamic figs vinegar. Furthermore, you have the possibility to heat up this preparation.
It is perfect for a festive aperitif, and especially for guests who like salty-sweet. They will be surprised and will enjoyed it. And the caramelized touch always are appreciated: you have my word!
After you have removed the lid, warm your cream seven minutes in your oven in 180°C. We advise you to serve it lukewarm with for example bread fingers grilled gingerbread.
Water, duck foie gras 20%, butter (milk), whole egg, milk proteins, caramel (sugar, water), sugar, balsamic vinegar 0.5%, figs, salt, Armagnac, pepper, preservatives: sodium nitrite , antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
