Carbonnade, or beef in beer, is one of the classic dishes of northern France and Belgium. This recipe has a subtle and delicious taste, slightly sweet and sour, enhanced by the addition of real beer. In keeping with the character of the dish, we suggest that you serve it with beer or lager, rather than with wine.
Beef, sauce: water, beer 4%, modified starch, gelatine, stock (starch, wheat flour, aromas, yeast extracts, white wine extract E 150 c, vegetable extract, meat), vegetables, gingerbread, soft brown sugar, salt, pepper.
