Basil is very famous in mediterranean cuisine, and is an essential ingredient in the Italian pesto and the pistou soup in Provence. Here, it is married with Dijon mustard of the highest quality, to produce a mustard that is perfect served with cold meats or mixed into a vinaigrette sauce for salad.
