Calissons are traditional almond and candied fruit sweets from Aix-en-Provence in Southern France. Léonard Parli is one of the very best calisson makers, and this spread perfectly captures all the flavour of the original sweet.
This spread is delicious on bread, in tarts and cakes, or stirred into yoghurt. It is made using only natural ingredients, using 44% ground almonds and 43% candied fruit (apricots and melons).
