Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) comes from southern Europe. The plant looks like parsley (it is also called Arab or Chinese parsley). It owes its name to its stinking flowers. The word coriander comes from the Greek Koris (house-bug) and Andros (man, husband). Its seeds are at the contrary very aromatic.
Tasting : coriander is used in the making of different spice mix (curries, garam massala...). Its lemon-flavored taste is perfect to flavor sauces, salads, fish and vegetable recipes... For a better taste, just grind it before using.
