Nougats & Calissons

Nougat has been made in Montelimar since the 17th century, deliciously combining honey, sugar, egg white, vanilla, almond and pistachio nuts with a sublime and delicately velvety frosting. Calissons were first prepared in Aix en Provence during the 15th century. Exquisite little sweetmeats made with almonds, candied melon, eggs and sugar, they epitomise French chic.
