Wines from Alsace : from the Antiquity ...

The Alsatian vintage is one of the oldest in France. Wine was cultivated in Alsace a long time before the Roman colonisation. However, the Romans brought their tools and the principes of the modern vine growing, exepted the barrels, which were invented by Gauls.

During the Middle-Age, the Alsace wine, white or red, was one of the most famous and of the most expensive in Europe.

Since that time, the vintage has known historical ups and downs, but there are still lots of houses founded from the 17th century, and some wine-making families can be proud of being the fourteenth generation !

Along the centuries and the last years, we never give up by willing to improve our producting methods both traditional and modern. We have improved the quality of our soil and our wines. The know-how goes from one generation to the next one in our beautiful region.
