Son of a wine-producer, I studied in Burgundy. When back in Alsace, I didn't want to produce 120 hectolitres of wine per hectare anymore, but 50 hectolitres per hectare. I also decided to hand-vintage the wine.

Not only a wine-producer...

I also published some articles about the wine and in one of them, written with the help of two other wine-makers, "The Riesling Manifesto", he told us their passion shared for this vintage :
"... It is like if the vintage were combinating the sky with the earth, the shadow with the light. The vintage links the top to the bottom in order to facilitate the exchanges. And its fruit, the grape, are the prooves of this..."
