Penmarc'h is the name of a foreland located in the Bigouden region (in Brittany).

Bigouden region is famous for its fabulous landscapes with great colors and lights. It is also famous for the typical head-dress of our women.

Penmarc'h foreland owes its name to its shape that reminds you of King Marc'h 's head. (According to the legend, King Marc'h had a horse head). Pen means "head" in breton tongue.
