The sweetness of Corsican honey - Pierre Torre

Pierre Torre lives in Cuttoli (Corsica). As a bee-keeper, my goal is to produce a perfect Corsican honey. Corsica has a tremendously rich biodiversity with more than 2800 different vegetal species (127 of them are endemic to Corsica). Corsica is also well known for its mediterranean climate which allows bees to gather honey from flowers all year long.

For these reasons, Corsican people have been making honey for ages ! In some places, you can even see hives built in the walls of the family house ! Corsican honeys are unique... Sweet, strong, fruited, malted, round in the mouth ... many adjectives are used to describe their special tastes.
