The king of Italian pasta!
If pasta had a King, it would have to be spaghetti. Martelli spaghetti is made in Lari, close to Pisa, and is produced on a small scale according to traditional methods. It is best enjoyed cooked "al dente" so that it retains a little bite.
The best recipe is the easiest to prepare: gently fry a little sliced garlic in some extra virgin olive oil and stir through your cooked Martelli spaghetti. Serve hot with some freshly grated parmesan.
