Use as an ingredient in cooking or as an original and delicious jam
Sesame seeds preserved in cane sugar form a delicious, richly flavoured jam. Use it as an ingredient in cooking or spread it onto crusty bread as a delicious alternative to traditional jam.
A layer of oil will form on the surface of the jam: this is normal and is simply the natural oil from the sesame seed rising to the top. Shake or stir before serving. Store in a cool, dry place.
