French sweet wine from St Jean de Minervois - vendanges d'Automne
A golden sweet white wine
The grapes used to produce this wine are grown on old, well-established vines, and are harvested once the fruit has been dried by the sun at the end of summer. All the flavour is therefore concentrated in the grapes, which produce a wine rich in aromas of orange peel, dried apricots, honey and incense.
This muscat presents a pronounced and complex nose, with rich, intense flavours revealing candied fruits and spices.
Serving : Perfect served with strongly flavoured cheeses, and excellent as a pudding wine with fruity puddings, icecream or chocolate.
Le Muscat Vendanges d'Automne can be laid down for up to 15 years and is best served at 8°C.
