Italian Amaretti Morbidi alla Mandorla
Possibly the best amaretti in the world
The amaretti is a traditional Italian biscuit made with bitter almonds, and without any flour. They are breathtakingly delicious.
In our humble opinion, these amaretti are the best we have ever tasted... moist, richly flavoured and utterly irresistible. We really don't have any adjectives good enough to describe the fabulousness of these little cakey biscuits. Each amaretti is wrapped lovingly in pretty paper. You could, we suppose, share them with friends over coffee. But quite honestly, our advice is to keep them all to yourself!
