Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie
Citrus fruits and peppery notes combine in this wine celebrated in the 2009 Hachette guide.
Michel Ripoche has been making wine on the century old vineyard of Noelles since 1990, when he took over the Domaine. Situated in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine region, the vines are planted on the sunny Sèvre slopes, which gives the grapes their special rich aroma and perfume.
This muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie was singled out for praise by the 2009 Hachette wine guide as one of their favourites. The judges were won over by the exceptional quality of the wine and of its provenance.
Citrus fruits and mineral notes characterise the nose of this wine. In the mouth, it is finely structured with peppery undertones. Ready to drink now, this wine can also be laid down for two or three years. Perfect with grilled lobster.
