Delicious dried porcini ready to use
Give your cooking a unique, autumnal flavour, using these dried wild mushrooms. The drying process concentrates their taste, adding a special flavour to all kinds of recipes.
How to prepare:
To prepare your dried mushrooms, soak them in lukewarm water for 15 minutes. Drain and put them in a pan of boiling water, then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse the mushrooms thoroughly. Use them as you would fresh mushrooms.
These mushrooms are delicious cooked with cream, in an omelette, mixed into a dish of pasta or cooked with tomatoes and Provençal herbs. Putting them in to cook with your meat and poultry will give these dishes an extra depth of flavour.
