This former home of the Barons of Pichon, heir to a mediaeval squiredom, is today dominated by an impressive 19th century château.

Château Clément Pichon is situated in the commune of Parempuyre, fifteen kilometres to the north of Bordeaux.

The magnificent building has also been the home of its owner, Clément Fayat, since 1976.

The vineyard, entirely planted in a remarkable gravely soil, has today reached its full maturity. The cellars, equipped with state-of-the-art installations, ensure perfect control of the vinification and ageing of the wines, under the watchful and knowledgeable eye of the wine-maker, Michel Rolland.

Tasting

Château Clément Pichon is a classic, Haut-Médoc wine, with a deep colour, an elegant nose with aromas of blackcurrant, backed by a hint of woodiness, a long-lasting balance with a good length on the palate.

Salad of warm flap mushrooms in balsam vinegar.
