Taittinger Brut Prélude Grands Crus champagne
A simply divine champagne
This champagne is produced using 50% Chardonnay grapes and 50% Pinot Noir grapes, both selected carefully by Taittinger from the Grands Crus vineyards, that is to say, the very best.
This is a wine of great charm, which can be laid down for an extended period. It combines finesse with complexity, freshness with remarkable aromatic expression.
A sparkling appearance and a pale yellow colour, with silver highlights, characteristic of the Chardonnay grape. Very fine bubbles form a mousse that is delicately creamy and long lasting. Very fine and fresh nose. Mineral notes pass quickly to more organic, leafy and floral notes, with elderflower blending with spicy hints of cinnamon. In the mouth, the wine is vibrant and its flavour dominated by citrus fruits, before becoming round, generous and silky, with notes of white sugared peaches. The finish is long, rich and very expressive.
The Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus perfectly blends finesse and complexity. Perfectly balanced, it is extremely fresh and aromatic.
