Sorrel used to be largely eaten in the past. It is rich in iron, and C vitamin. It gives good soups and goes well with fish recipes or to flavor an omelette.

Recipe : sorrel flavored chrysophrys - on an aluminium sheet, lay out some plain sorrel and add the chrysophrys fillets on it. Add some salt, sour cream and close the sheet. Cook at high heat in an owen for 5 minuts.
