The very best Italian pasta!

It is difficult to think about Italy without thinking about pasta, so emblematic of that lovely country. But not all pasta are equal! Martelli pasta has been made by the same family for generations.

Only the very best durum wheat is used by Martelli, who demand a certain type of gluten, in order to allow their pasta to be produced without the use of industrial methods. The pasta is given long and loving attention, rolled out on bronze plaques, rather than on Teflon, which adds a slight reddish sheen to the finished product, and makes it better for holding its sauce. The pasta is dried for a minimum of 50 hours, allowing all the properties of the wheat to the preserved.

Spaghettini is very long, fine pasta. Served with a tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, it makes a perfect, delicious meal.

Composition : Durum wheat semolina.
