Il Tartufato is an ingredient perfumed with truffle, which can be used to add a touch of the refined and much sought-after aroma of the black truffle to any recipe. It can be used either as a replacement for truffle, or as an additional note within the recipe, to reinforce the taste. Added to risottos, tagliatelle, eggs, or to fondus, or drizzled over carpaccios of meat, this oil contributes a note of distinction and refinement.
How to use: Use one teaspoon of oil per person, according to taste.
To prepare an easy truffle butter: mix one teaspoon of oil with a pat of softened butter and replace in the refrigerator before using.
