Domaine de la Coume du Roy

For six generations, wines have been produced by the Domaine de la Coume du Roy, which was founded in 1932, and it the expertise and knowledge accumulated over this time that is responsible for the generous and attractive wines which come from this Domaine.

Very old Maury

Even though Maury is more usually drunk when young, connoisseurs jump at the chance to taste more mature bottles, some of them aged up to 50 years in the bottle. The flavours include cocoa and plums, whilst notes of coffee and fig become apparent, as the wine ages. Purple in colour when young, the wine takes on a golden hue as it ages, whilst its bouquet holds aromas of plum, walnut and candied fruit.
