To enjoy this foie gras at its best, store the tin in the refrigerator for 24 hours. A couple of hours prior to serving, open the two ends of the tin and press gently to free the foie gras. Cut using a very sharp knife that you have previously plunged into hot water. Serve on a bed of salad. You can also serve the foie gras in thin slices on a bed of sliced pear garnished with redcurrants. A certain success!
