The Chaiseronne is one of the Norman food processing industries which have received the label “Gourmandie” for most of its products. This label is given according to 3 essential criteria: the Norman origin, the quality and the flavour of the products. The navarin of “Pré-salé” lamb cooked with Normandy cider by Chaiseronne is made from an old recipe of our grand-mothers. Furthermore, this exceptional ready-cooked meal has received the Gourmandie label.

The navarin is made from lamb meat of great-quality. Lambs are reared on the “Pré-salé” land of the Harves in Contentin region. Carefully selected, then slowly cooked, this meat gives the dish a special dimension. Vegetables have been cooked very slowly so they can preserve all their qualities and flavour. Thus you will find in this recipe a whole range of flavours around a delicious and tender meat, all prepared in respect of the Norman tradition. Preparation advice: in a covered pan, cook for 8 minutes on a gentle heat or in the oven, uncovered, for 2 or 3 minutes.

Composition : Lean lamb reared on the “Pré-salé” land of the Harves in Contentin region, Normandy cider 20%, carrot, turnip, pickled onion, haricot bean, salt, pepper, garlic.
