The fir tree honey is syrupy and crystallizes very slowly. Its dark brown colour presents wonderful golden glints. In the mouth, this honey has got a resin smell, with pronounced woody aromas, a typical malty taste and overtones of menthol, heather, raspberry bush or mulberry tree. The fir honey is actually a honeydew, so it contains gums and dextrins with very good properties for health. It has calming effects on breathing.
