Karoo, in the local language means “place of thirst”. This semi-desert region, where the oasis of the Karoo spring is located, is so far away that it needs to travel over 500km before finding the first traces of an industrialized South Africa. Naturally balanced, this mineral water gushes out at the surface of the Earth after it has been filtered by 80-million-year-old rocks in the Paardeberg Mountain chain. The water is bottled in the wine-producing region of Paarl, on the West side of the South-African cape. The superb bottles are directly silk-screened on the glass and have bluish tints and shimmers. Moderately mineralized with a pH of 7.5, the Karoo water is one of the best premium waters on the market.

Composition : Calcium 47 mg/L ; Magnesium 7 mg/L ; Potassium 2 mg/L ; Sodium 22 mg/L ; Bicarbonates 80 mg/L ; Chlorides 50 mg/L ; Nitrates 0,22 mg/L ; Sulphates 10 mg/L.
