Age old salt crystal with its own grater

A salt diamond

These salt crystals were formed 260 million years ago and are extracted by hand fro the heart of the Himalayan moutains in the Kashmir region of Pakistan. The salt was first brought to Europe by Alexander the Great, in 350 BC. Only the most elite were entitled to taste it.

Use as part of a table decoration, and invite guests to help themselves to salt as they wish, using the grater. A charming, original and sophisticated addition to your table.
