Matifoc – Rancio sec

Matifoc is a wine of Vermeille Coast (Roussillon, South of France)

This Dry Rancio, made with the Grenache grape variety, is a product of pure tradition from the land of Banyuls. You can appreciate it at cocktail time or you can serve it with anchovies. Serve it preferably chilled.

The Dry Rancio of Roussillon, a product “Sentinelle” (calls “Presidia” in English) by Slow Food.

The International organisation Slow Food sets the objective of promoting and protecting culinary traditions thanks to, among others, Sentinelles (French appellation for “Presidia” from “Ark of Taste”project). These projects are developed to safeguard small local productions and promote good-quality products made by traditional methods. The Dry Rancio is one of the Presidia products.

Composition : Matifoc. Alcohol 16 %.
