The red lentils are very quick to cook. You don’t need to soak them beforehand. So they can be cooked at the same time with the vegetables. Quite delicate, we advise you to prepare soups with them (very unctuous when you mix them in), purées, sauces… You can blend red lentils with many spices such as cumin, cardamom or star anise.

Preparation

Rinse and cook for 15 minutes in one volume of lentils for two volumes of water (or stock) with onions, spices…
